01The approach
Open format
Austin Ventour is an open-format DJ based in London. He plays clubs, festivals, weddings and private events, and treats the range as the point: read the people in front of you, find the record they want next, and get there cleanly.
That has meant Ministry of Sound and Sexy Fish in Mayfair, festival sets at Camp Bestival, Mucky Weekender, Snowbombing and Bestival, and five London residencies right now. Before those came residencies at Zinc, Golden Bee and 10 Degrees, and club dates in Sweden.
Urban Disco Collective is his disco project: edits, parties and good records. He makes music too: the house single “Take Me” is out on Spotify under the name Ventour.
